Mono in 2025
2024 was another wild year of new experiences and exploring more of the world. Spent a lot more time in Europe and Latin America. Added some of the brand’s first speaking events and our own Mono event in Lisbon Portugal for ApeFest Lisbon. It meant a lot to contribute more to the Ape community after it has given so much to me. Mono was even given the opportunity to work alongside other established and growing brands in the Yuga Labs MBA ecosystem like BoredIn and Bored Foodie Frens. One thing is for sure, Mono is still growing and focusing more on experiences and supporting the travel lifestyle through these activations will continue to be a part of that.
For 2025, Mono will be looking to launch more intentional goods for the travel lifestyle beginning with our first product just for modern nomads.
Keeping yourself safe always means prioritizing the documents and papers you need to keep going. After working for more than a year to bring this idea to life, Mono is proud to announce our first Passport Wallet. Made in Milan, Italy by artisans with decades of experience in luxury leather goods, this calf-leather variant on the wallet is the best way to wrap your passport in luxury and keep your cards safe and organized in one place. The wallet comes in two configurations. Our Envelop Passport Wallet let’s your travel documents slip into the side of the wallet keeping for easy access and security. This variant is available in Black. The alternative Tuck Passport Wallet adds one side for storing vertical documents like your boarding pass, currency, and other essential documents in one place. This variant comes in Extra Matte Green for a unique feel. Both are embossed by craftsmen in Milan with the Mono logo and our latest flair inside the cover.
The quality of these pieces is complimented by our first digital experience, the NFC. This chip is embedded into the design of the product and unlocks the digital provenance of your individual Passport including the story of the artisans behind every item. Pre-orders are available soon and attendees of our private dining experience in Lisbon last year will receive early access.
Mono will be in Malaysia in April for the first ever Ape Carnival by 8sian Magazine in Kuala Lumpur on the 6th. Beyond this event Mono is looking at finalizing details for our next speaking appearance in Estonia for BananaConf at the end of May.
